For USPS Priority or Express Mail you can expect delivery normally within 1 – 5 days unless you reside in Alaska or Hawaii. If you are not available when the Post Office attempts delivery, they will typically leave you a notice in your mailbox. You will need to take that notice to the Post Office to pick up your package.

We apologize that we can no longer ship by cheaper Airmail First Class International with no insurance. Our experience has shown that packages shipped this way can easily get lost and/or sometimes take several weeks to arrive. There are NO TRACKING NUMBERS when Airmail is used and there is no way of knowing where the package is or if it is even delivered! You may be willing to take the risk to save a few dollars, but we are not. We strive to provide excellent service and we just can’t do that if we use an unreliable delivery method like Airmail. Please do not fault us for not offering this cheaper unacceptable shipping option.

We combine shipping at no extra charge. If you order more than one item and it is possible for us to ship them in the same package, we will ship your items together at no extra charge.

Priority Mail International outside the U.S. can take anywhere from 7 to 25 days.

Priority Mail EXPRESS International outside the U.S. usually arrives within 3 to 5 days.

To protect ourselves, AAA Vintage Posters insure expensive items for the FULL AMOUNT. Import Duties for the European Union apply to any item bought overseas whether or not we list it as a gift on the shipping manifest. In the UK for example, they apply to any gift over £35 and to any item that is not a gift over £18. These costs can be quite substantial and include a Value added Tax and a Parcel Force Clearance Fee. These combined charges can add up to 25% or more to your final cost. For other European countries the charges will differ. Please check with your postal system on their procedure for packages from overseas so you are not unpleasantly surprised.

IF YOU WISH US TO SHIP WITHOUT INSURANCE

If you are not in the USA and would like us to ship your expensive items uninsured so you can try to avoid import fees and taxes, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PACKAGE AND PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BY BANK WIRE TRANSFER, CASH, OR BY MONEY ORDER….NO CREDIT CARDS AND NO PAYPAL.

FOR VERY EXPENSIVE POSTERS

Within the U.S. we ship very valuable posters by REGISTERED INSURED U.S. MAIL. This is the safest, most convenient, and most economical method available. Registered mail travels under lock and key separate from the regular mail, and is signed for every step of the way. You must sign for the package when it is delivered to you or you will receive a delivery notification that you can use to claim your package at the post office.

When can I expect my order to arrive? Why is my international order taking so long to arrive?

Orders are processed and shipped within 48-72 hours. Depending on whether you choose Priority Mail or Priority Mail EXPRESS, within the U.S. it usually takes 1 to 3 days. Outside the U.S. it usually takes 4 to 7 days, sometimes longer if it gets held up in customs. We highly recommend Priority Mail EXPRESS for orders outside the U.S.

We are sorry if your international order has been delayed and appears to have been stalled in the tracking system. Sometimes international packages are chosen at random by customs for inspection, and sometimes they can be held indefinitely. It doesn’t happen often (less than 3% of packages shipped), but it does happen. Sometimes they hold them for a few days, sometimes for a few weeks. Please understand that this is out of our control. It is highly likely that it will magically reappear in the system so you can track it again. In the highly unlikely event that it doesn’t eventually arrive, we will refund you in full as it is insured.

 

AAA Vintage Posters – PACKAGING

When you purchase a poster from AAA Vintage Posters we take extra special care when we package your item.

For folded posters we put the poster in a plastic bag or envelope and in between two or four pieces of STRONG cardboard and tape it together before placing in the shipping envelope/box.

For rolled posters we put the poster in a STRONG 3” or greater diameter tube with thick walls at least 3/16” or 1/4“ or thicker. We then wrap with paper or put it in a plastic sleeve. First we roll the poster then we put some kind of soft cushioning material on the ends to further protect them from getting damaged. We stamp “FRAGILE: DO NOT BEND” all over the outside of the package.

For Posters over $200.00 Only

We can arrange scheduled installment payments for you over 3 or 6 months. Please email us to let us know which posters you are interested in purchasing and we will automatically send you monthly invoices payable by PayPal, Credit Card, Bank Wire, or Check.

Once the first payment is made the posters will be removed from our inventory and set aside for you.

Any installment payments are not refundable. All invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt or the transaction is cancelled.

Posters purchased on layaway can be returned for any reason, however we will issue you FULL CREDIT ONLY towards the purchase of another poster or posters from us.
