Formed in Canada, the Sparrow rock band moved to California and signed with Columbia Records in 1966, the year these performances were held in Sausalito, California. This poster highlights their latest single “Tomorrow’s Ship.” Soon after, several members, headed by vocalist John Kay, formed their new group Steppenwolf, and the rest is history.
