JAMAICA INN (Paramount, 1939)

Original and scarce 1939 Mexican One Sheet (26.5″ x 36.5″) for the early Alfred Hitchcock directed adventure thriller, JAMAICA INN, starring Charles Laughton, Horace Hodges, Hay Petrie, Frederick Piper, Robert Newton, Maureen O’Hara, Leslie Banks and Emlyn Williams.  This original JAMAICA INN Mexican One Sheet is no different from most Mexican posters as it is made of very fragile almost newsprint-like paper, has many small border tears, a 2″ top tear near the “P” in “POSADA,” a 4″ top tear between the letters “A” and “D” in “POSADA,” some upper right border chips, many tiny pieces of tape supporting several pin-holes and other small holes near the words Hitchcock and REBECCA, tape supporting the right and left borders on reverse, but this Original Mexican One Sheet for JAMAICA INN has NEVER been folded,  displays bright color with no fading, artwork which captures the spirit of this fun early Hitchcock film where Maureen O’Hara gets to watch Charles Laughton chew up scenery in her first film, and  this original 1939 Mexican One-Sheet for JAMAICA INN is overall in Fair to Good Condition and I would recommend having it linen-backed for durability and it would also display beautifully with not too much work.  Please refer to the attached image and enlarge for a detailed view of this rare Mexican One Sheet for Alfred Hitchcock’s early crime-thriller, JAMAICA INN.   We will be listing many posters this week and weekend so keep checking back for new additions.

We will be adding new items daily including great titles featuring John Wayne, Buck Jones, Orson Welles, Karloff, Steve McQueen, Humphrey Bogart, Marlene Dietrich, Clint Eastwood, Bette Davis, Horror, Film Noir, Western, Beach and Bikini, and Jungle Movie Posters.  Thanks for looking and Good Luck!
