“How president taft laughed at the comedy” cartoon art by Rube Golderg for the new york evening mail. Metropolitan Publishing Co., New York. It’s for the Broadway play, “A Gentleman From Mississippi, which debuted in 1908. President William Howard Taft liked the play (so did his predecessor, Theodore Roosevelt, who called it a “perfectly corking play”) and this fact was used in some advertising.
Condition: Overall displays in Excellent condition.
